Phosphate Flame Retardants is Better

Nowadays, there are many kinds of flame retardant, but they all have their cons and pros.Among them, two kinds of flame retardant are more common, they are Halogen flame retardant and Phosphate Flame Retardants. Halogen flame retardant with bromine flame retardant is the world’s largest produced flame retardant. Industrial production of chlorine is less varieties of flame retardant, mainly for chlorinated paraffin, cloning, hite, acid and anhydride of chlorinated. Flame retardants is used in rigid polyurethane foam for the three (2 – isopropyl chloride) phosphate ester (TCPP), ethyl acetone phosphate (TCEP).

Although the flame retardant of halogen series is good and the market is in great demand, but the halogen flame retardant produces a lot of harmful smoke, corrosive gases and poisonous gases. With worldwide environmental protection consciousness enhancement, the various countries developed laws gradually to limit and prohibit the use of halogen flame retardants, therefore, from the point of view of the long-term development, halogen free flame retardant is the developing direction of flame retardants in the future.

Phosphor flame retardant is rich in resources, low cost, widely used.It is a promising flame retardant variety. Dimethyl phosphonate (DMMP) has features of colorless, transparent, high efficiency, low toxicity, wide use and low cost. It can be used in PU foam, UP and EP. Phosphate Flame Retardants has the advantages of flame retardant, plasticizing dual function and valued.

It includes Phosphate Flame Retardants, phosphate ester, phosphate, containing halogen, compound phosphate and its derivatives. Phosphate and red phosphorus five types, phosphorus amine, reactive phosphorus compounds, especially phosphorus and nitrogen expansion type flame retardant agent and flame retardant polymer is very promising flame retardants.
